Galatians 3:26 - For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.
To live in unity with your fellow believers.
Ephesians 4:2-3 - with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
1 John 2:10 - The one who loves his brother abides in the Light and there is no cause for stumbling in him.
To be an active follower of Christ through discipleship, Bible reading, prayer, and Bible study classes.
2 Timothy 2:15 - Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Psalm 119:105 - Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
Colossians 4:2 - Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving.
John 10:27 - My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
To serve Christ by using your gifts, abilities, and/or talents at Gentian Baptist Church.
Ephesians 4:11-12 - And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ.
Romans 12:6-8 - Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to exercise them accordingly: if prophecy, according to the proportion of his faith; if service, in his serving; or he who teaches, in his teaching; or he who exhorts, in his exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.
To be a faithful participant in our worship services.
Hebrews 10:24-25 - and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit os some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the day drawing near.
To financially support the ministries of Gentian Baptist Church in a way that honors God.
2 Corinthians 9:7 - Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
Leviticus 27:30 - Thus all the tithe of the land, of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD'S; it is holy to the LORD.
To be actively involved in a Sunday School class.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 - All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.
To be an ambassador for Christ and share with others the love and grace of God.
Matthew 28:19-20 - Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
